Visual Communication & Design (Photography), Associate of Applied Business
The Associate of Applied Business in Visual Communication & Design, Photography degree program prepares students for careers as professional photographers working in editorial, advertising, portraiture, commercial retouching and image compositing , and fine -art photography . The Photography curriculum provides a solid foundation in camera operation, studio and location lighting techniques, file management, post-production for output, retouching, custom printing and the technical and aesthetic assessment of photographs. Students engage in hands-on, project-based learning, using industry standard workflows and technologies to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career
