VCPH 2050 — VCPH-2050 Commercial Studio Techniques I
This course introduces students to photographic strobe lighting (at times combined with ambient light sources) within the photographic digital capture studio. Students will be introduced to shooting portraits, products, food, fashion, and advertising images, focusing on lighting setups, efficient digital workflow, and editing one’s photographs for professional results. Efficient workflow in the creation and post-production of appropriately formatted digital files will be implemented. Students must have access to a DSLR or mirrorless camera with manual controls and a removable lens, with RAW file format capabilities. Students must have limited access to wardrobe and props.
