VCPH 1261 — VCPH-1261 Photography I
Explore photograph creation maximizing the capabilities of your digital camera using ambient lighting. A variety of photographic genres and their stylistic attributes to be introduced. Assignments allow for the exploration of non-commercial photographic traditions, leading to an increase of understanding of high-resolution digital-capture, editing, post-production, and printing, each implementing proper photographic workflows. Critical thinking skills are strengthened to enhance photographic narratives. Students must have their own DSLR or mirrorless camera with removable lens, and manual controls including; aperture, shutter-speed, ISO, and RAW file capability. Note: Specified printing paper, portfolio box, Adobe Lightroom Classic v_, and external hard-drive required.
