Cosmetology-AAS
The Associate in Applied Science in Cosmetology offers students hands on training in all facets of Cosmetology including hairstyling, cosmetology, esthetics, chemical services, nail services, salon operations and license review. The program meets the standards of the Illinois Department of Finance and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) in total hours, teaching staff, equipment, facilities, libraries and course content. Students are required to complete a specific number of hours in the program. Once students have completed a total of 1500 hours of coursework and laboratory hours, they are ready to sit for the licensure examination through IDFPR.
