Health Fitness Professional A.A.S. - Transfer Option
The Health and Fitness Professional A.A.S. (transfer option) prepares students for professional roles in the health and fitness industry. Coursework covers health, wellness and nutritional concepts, fitness training theory and applied skills, business management, and internship experience. Graduates are prepared to work one-on-one with clients, manage fitness programs or facilities, advise athletes, and promote sporting events. The program also readies students to pursue continued education and to sit for NCCA-accredited licensure exams in personal training and/or group fitness instruction.
