ARTS 1101 - Art Appreciation ARTS 1101 - Art Appreciation Students investigate the value of art, themes in art, the elements and principles of composition, and the materials and processes used for artistic expression. Well-known works of visual art are explored. Students are required to participate in observation and evaluation of the visual arts beyond the classroom and the internet. (associate degree-level course) Note: Students enrolled in this course will be assessed a $60.84 cost recovery course fee in addition to tuition and fees.
