HIST 107 — History of Race & Ethnicity in the United States
An introduction to the social, cultural, and historical experiences of racial and ethnic groups and their roles in shaping the United States. Focus will be on migration, colonization, racialization, discrimination, assimilation, social stratification, resistance and agency, liberation movements, and the intersection of racial, ethnic, gender, and sexual identities as they relate to African Americans, Asian Americans, Latinas/os/x, and Native Americans.
