Social Justice Studies: African American Studies (AA-T)
The Associate in Arts in Social Justice Studies: African American Studies for Transfer (AA-T) degree is designed to prepare students for seamless transfer to a CSU and toward a major in Africana Studies or those majors pertinent to race, ethnicity, and/or social justice. The first of its kind here at Cerritos College, this program offers an introduction to the theoretical principles and practices of social justice, paying particular attention to the study of the life history, culture, and social justice traditions of Black people.
