WILD 2600 - Ecology Capstone WILD 2600 - Ecology Capstone Lecture: 2 Lab: 3 This is a capstone research project course for students in Natural Sciences. Introduces major ecological concepts and identifies the techniques used by ecologists. Examines patterns and processes at various levels of biological organization. Much of the course focuses on local ecology, but the principles learned will apply in a variety of ecosystems. The laboratory portion emphasizes techniques of modern field biology. Students will also learn quantitative methods, field techniques, and conduct an independent ecological research project.
