This course aims to give insight in how literature gives us a window into both the experiences of others and wider appreciation for the human condition. This course will be an overview and introduction into skill sets, such as writing about texts and critically engaging with literature and symbolism; and concepts, such as the qualities of novel, poetry, epics, novellas, nonfiction, etc; that students will need in higher level Literature courses.
