EEET 1110 - DC Circuit Analysis EEET 1110 - DC Circuit Analysis Lecture: 2 Lab: 2 Topics include resistance, current, voltage, Kirchhoff’s Current and Voltage Laws, Ohm’s Law, the resistor color code, Watt’s Law, sources of DC current and voltage, soldering and desoldering techniques, analysis of DC circuits using Branch Current Analysis, Thevenin’s and Norton’s Theorems, Superposition, and Multisim. Devices studied include the IC voltage regulator, the transformer in DC power supplies, capacitors, inductors, bridge rectifiers, and control relays. Other topics include the construction of DC power supplies, transient response of series RC and RL circuits, and magnetic circuits. Lab test equipment includes DC power supplies, analog and digital volt ohm milliammeter’s, function generators, and digital oscilloscopes.
