Medication Aide
Learn instruction in preparation and administration of designated medications by nurse aides and nonlicensed nursing personnel employed in licensed healthcare agencies including the responsibilities associated with such administration. The program includes 10 hours of clinical training to be completed by the student in an approved facility outside of regular class time. The clinical facility is to be secured by the student. To be considered for admission, the student must be currently employed as a CNA or non-licensed direct care staff member in certain facilities.
