Students receive training in all areas of equine management, as well as, training in economic theories associated with profitable management of breeding farms and horse ranches. Students are exposed to various situations encompassing theory and hands-on experience in the field of agriculture. Program content and competencies are reviewed and endorsed by an equine advisory committee comprised of leaders in the equine industry and agri-business.
