HITC 2030 - Quality Improvement and Assessment in Healthcare HITC 2030 - Quality Improvement and Assessment in Healthcare 3 credit(s) This course will focus on quality improvement and assessment in a variety of healthcare settings. Emphasis will be placed on implementation of quality tools and techniques as they relate to health information department activities of acute care hospitals, hospital outpatient and emergency departments, ambulatory care settings, and other healthcare facilities. Quality improvement and assessment techniques as they relate to the medical staff will also be addressed. S. (T) 2 hours lecture/2 hours laboratory per week
