HSS 202 - Co-Occurring Disorders HSS 202 - Co-Occurring Disorders LEC hours per week: 5 Students will examine how mental illness and substance abuse interfere with an individual’s ability to function effectively, including the physical, social, psychological, and spiritual well-being. Students will learn the consequences of undiagnosed or untreated co-occurring disorders, as well as integrated treatments used by human service professionals that focus on both mental illness and addictions.
