This class focuses on the operation and maintenance of a computer database. It also identifies the principles and practices of effective information management for an automated records system. Formerly: OT 222. Identify relevant legislation affecting records management. Analyze the necessary adjustment of filing segments for input into computer application software. Design and manipulate information storage systems using current database software and its advanced functions. Identify and review information management security systems. Identify current trends in records management.
