HIMT 2302 - *Basic ICD Coding II HIMT 2302 - *Basic ICD Coding II This course is a study of procedural coding and classification system used in classification of medical procedures and employed to organize medical information for future retrieval. Application of the current International Classification of Diseases Official Coding Guidelines as related to procedure coding will be addressed. Assignment of current coding and classification codes based on documentation will be practiced. Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
