GEOL 1040 - ^Physical Geology GEOL 1040 - ^Physical Geology This course is an introduction to the physical geology of the earth including composition, structure and evolution. Laboratory and field experiences involve rock and mineral identification, along with map and field interpretation of geologic structures. Credit in GEOL 1030 cannot be combined with GEOL 1040 or to satisfy graduation or general education core requirements.
