EMPR 2291P - *Communication Practicum: Radio EMPR 2291P - *Communication Practicum: Radio This course includes supervised laboratory or field work in radio broadcasting or radio station operations. The course is designed primarily for actual on-air experience. May be completed at the College station WVCP-FM or as an internship at a commercial station. Students may take a combination of practicum courses ( EMPR 2294P and/or EMPR 2295P ); only 8 hours may be counted toward graduation. Not intended for transfer. [This course was previously COMM 291P.] Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall, Spring, Summer -135 practicum hours per semester Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
