EMPR 2230 - *Screenwriting EMPR 2230 - *Screenwriting This course provides a foundation in industry-standard formatting, style, and composition of scripts written for the screen. Topics covered include three-act structure, major plot events, vertical flow, efficient visual writing, character development, scenes and transitions, treatments, pitching, and the business of screenwriting. (This course was previously COMM 230.)
