BIOL 1010 - ^Introduction to Biology BIOL 1010 - ^Introduction to Biology This course is an introduction to the biological sciences with an emphasis on basic concepts of the “building blocks of life” at the molecular and cellular levels. Functions of cellular organelles, photosynthesis, cellular respiration, protein synthesis, genetics, cell reproduction, and evolution will be emphasized. Credit in only one of the following courses can be used toward graduation or general education core requirements: BIOL 1010, BIOL 1030 , BIOL 1110 .
