MUS V17 — Jazz Band
This course will focus on the rehearsal and performance of large ensemble jazz music. Students will learn about various jazz styles and performance techniques within the context of a larger ensemble, as well as the elements of tuning, phrasing, and the analysis of rhythmic notation. The course will also explore advanced improvisation techniques.
