HIST V55 — United States History: Focus on Native Americans Since the Civil War
This course presents a survey and analysis of United States history from the Civil War to the present, with emphases on the role and history of Native Americans, changing United States Indian policy, and the interactions between divergent cultures. The course emphasizes basic American social, political, economic, and intellectual concepts and developments of the country in general, and the impact of/on Native American peoples in particular.
