DM V11 — Introduction to Heavy-Duty Diesel Repair
This is an overview course to familiarize the student with the history, nomenclature, operation, basic shop skills, and construction of modern heavy-duty diesel vehicles. The course will include shop safety, personal safety practices, tools, shop equipment, lubricants, fasteners, and workplace practices. An appreciation of the skills and abilities necessary to maintain heavy-duty diesel vehicles will be discussed.
