NURS 40633 — Population and Community Health Nursing
This course introduces general principles of population and community health nursing to provide a theoretical base for the care of families, aggregates, communities, and populations. Students apply the concepts of disease prevention and assessment to plan, implement, and evaluate interventions to address diverse health care issues across the lifespan. Prerequisite: NURS 40033 , NURS 48433 , NURS 40133 , ( ESRM 24003 or MATH 21003 ) and admission to an online undergraduate BSN professional program or permission by the instructor or department head and ( NURS 33332 , NURS 41032 , NURS 41234 , and NURS 41433 for LNBN students only).
