MATH 28003 — Transition to Advanced Mathematics
An introduction to concepts encountered in advanced mathematics. Emphasis is placed on developing the student's problem solving skills and ability to correctly communicate abstract concepts. Topics to include set theory, logic, relations, functions and mathematical induction presented in the context of intriguing mathematical problems. Pre- or Corequisite: MATH 24004 .
