Critical study and analysis of landscape architecture from nineteenth century to the present, with an emphasis on the philosophies, design and planning theories, and social conditions that have influenced the form of gardens, parks, and cities. Prerequisite: Honors candidacy. (Typically offered: Spring) This course is equivalent to LARC 44103 .
