HIST 363H3 — Honors Modern Japan
Examines the dramatic changes in Japan from the nineteenth century to the twenty-first century in a global, historical perspective. Through the lenses of imperialism and war, society and gender, and technology and environment, students will develop an understanding of Japan's place in our modern world. Prerequisite: Honors standing. (Typically offered: Fall Even Years) This course is equivalent to HIST 36303 .
