HDFS 24603 — Introduction to Leadership and Administration in the Helping Professions
The class is a basic introduction of leadership and emotional intelligence as it relates to becoming a successful administrator in the helping professions-based careers. Emphasis will be on administrators' roles as leaders in organizations. Topics include facilities, budget, staff development, and policy manuals. Prerequisite: Human Environmental Science (HESCBS) majors, Human Development & Family Science (HDFSBS) majors, Birth through Kindergarten (BRKDBS) majors, Human Development & Family Science (HDFS-M) minors, or departmental consent.
