GEOS 453H3 — Honors Introduction to Petroleum Geophysics
Introduction to seismic wave propagation and petroleum seismology with particular emphasis on seismic events, elastic waves, and seismic survey design. Prerequisite: MATH 25004 , ( PHYS 20203 or PHYS 20404 ), and GEOS 35104 or instructor consent. (Typically offered: Fall) This course is equivalent to GEOS 45303 .
