CHEM 34601 — Elements of Physical Chemistry Laboratory
Experimental measurements of the physical properties, chemical systems, error analysis and report writing. Experiments cover topics in thermochemistry, heat capacity, chemical kinetics, spectroscopy, and phase/chemical equilibrium using a variety of physical chemistry techniques. Laboratory 3 hours per week. Corequisite: Chemistry majors and chemistry minors must enroll in CHEM 34603 concurrently. Prerequisite: CHEM 22671 and PHYS 20201 (or PHYS 20404 ).
