Serves as an orientation to the human biological, cultural, social, and psychological systems which impact human behavior. Uses a psychosocial approach to study developmental patterns of human growth and change across the life span. Presents a variety of theoretical perspectives central to the understanding of physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
