AGRI4372 — Investigative Procedures and Techniques

Basic concepts of investigative procedures and techniques for regulatory agencies. Part I explores the legal basis for investigations. Part II focuses on the identification, collection, and protection of materials of evidential value. Students will be exposed to specialized techniques such as interviewing; note taking, report writing, photography; identification, collection and preservation of evidence. Part III covers the presentation of investigative results to adjudicative body. Lecture: Lecture: 3 hours per week.
