NURS 22307 - Nursing Concepts III NURS 22307 - Nursing Concepts III UAFS Legacy Course Number: NURS 2237 Lecture, 9 Clinical all, Spring Emphasizes critical thinking in the care of adult, child, and maternity clients. Students utilize nursing skills to prioritize the needs of medical/surgical adult clients; care of women with normal and high-risk pregnancy including other women’s health issues; care of the newborn and healthy child; and care of children with acute and chronic conditions. Students will complete a total of 135 clinical hours in obstetrics, pediatrics, and adult medical/surgical clinical settings. Prerequisite: NURS 12206 - Nursing Concepts II or NURS 22206 - LPN-RN Transition Concepts Prerequisite or Corequisite: BIOL 20003 - General Microbiology BIOL 20001 - General Microbiology Laboratory , ENGL 10103 - Composition I , and PSYC 21003 - Developmental Psychology: A Life Span
