GEOS 43203 - Petroleum Geology GEOS 43203 - Petroleum Geology UAFS Legacy Course Number: GEOL 4323 Lecture pring Introduction to petroleum exploration using techniques from sedimentology, stratigraphy, structural geology, and hydrogeology. Also studies the analysis and reconstruction of sedimentary basins. Well log analysis, seismic interpretation, drilling techniques, and new techniques, such as sequence stratigraphy, will be covered. Prerequisite: GEOS 41004 - Sedimentary Deposition or consent of instructor
