ENGL 30543 - Popular Literature ENGL 30543 - Popular Literature UAFS Legacy Course Number: ENGL 3053 Lecture Irregular Popular literature genres such as Gothic horror, mystery, science-fiction, fantasy, romance, and the Western. Study includes the development of popular genres, popular literature’s reflection and impact on the culture from which it emerges, the significance of values associated with “high” and “low” literature, and narrative patterns characteristic of popular genres. Topics will rotate. Prerequisite: ENGL 10103 - Composition I or ENGL 14343 - Honors Composition
