CHEM 14103 - College Chemistry I CHEM 14103 - College Chemistry I UAFS Legacy Course Number: CHEM 1403 Lecture all, Spring, Summer Basic chemical background necessary for advanced courses in science, to include the theoretical basis of atomic structure and bonding, stoichiometric calculations, classification of elements, thermochemistry, and physical properties of matter. CHEM 10003 and CHEM 10001 are highly recommended for students who have never taken a chemistry course. (ACTS: CHEM 1414; must have CHEM 14103/ CHEM 14101 ) Prerequisite: MATH 11003 - College Algebra or higher MATH course or exemption by placement or CHEM 10003 - Chemical Principles Prerequisite or Corequisite: CHEM 14101 - College Chemistry I Laboratory
