REN 100 — Introduction to Renewable Energy
Explores the principles, concepts, philosophy, and the application of renewable energy technologies. Examination of costs, energy production, energy conversion, as well as environmental issues and concerns. The United States electrical grids and the use and effects of current and traditional uses of fossil fuel and nuclear derived energy and renewable energy systems are explored through the lens of systems thinking, design, and the current energy transition.
