Development of children’s literature from nursery rhymes, picture books, poetry, traditional literature, realistic literature, fantasy, historical fiction, informational books and biographies. The dynamics of reading aloud, and creative techniques for presenting literature, as well as the cultural contexts that have influenced children’s literature. (formerly ENG)
