ECE 142 — Students With Disabilities in School â #
Overview of children with exceptional cognitive, physical, and social/emotional characteristics, including analysis of current issues related to educational implications for children with special needs, their families, and the community, identification, intervention strategies, methods, and programs to meet their needs. The study of applicable federal and state laws and requirements for: Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Individualized Family Service Plan, Individualized Education Programs and inclusive programming. Fulfills requirements of School Code 25.25. Field observations.
