The Machining Certificate prepares students for entry-level employment in the machining and manufacturing industry by developing foundational skills in machine shop operations. Students receive hands-on instruction in the safe setup and use of basic machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, drill presses, power saws, and bench grinders.
