MED 1300 - Introduction to Medical Scribe MED 1300 - Introduction to Medical Scribe 3 Credits Throughout the course, the student will learn the primary function of a scribe, proper documentation of the interaction between the physician and the patient, keep an accurate and up-to-date record of the patient interaction in the electronic medical record system (EMR), learn how to inform the physician of diagnostic tests and work as a liaison between the physician and other staff members.
