SEPX 1011 — Ukulele for Beginners
An introduction to mastering the fundamentals of ukulele playing, this course is open to students of all backgrounds and musical experience levels. The curriculum covers instrument anatomy, proper posture and ergonomics, and fretting and strumming techniques. Students will also learn music theory as it applies to the ukulele, chord progressions, how to read standard chord charts, and how to play easy songs. This class culminates in an ensemble performance Required Corequisite: SEPX-1000
