(2-2-0) Concepts related to nursing care for childbearing families and women's health issues. Content includes knowledge, judgment, skill, and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. This course lends itself to a blocked approach. Focus is on holistic human needs. Associate degree nurse role assimilation is facilitated through the development of identified major concepts. Required Prerequisites: RNSG 1441, RNSG 1461, RNSG 2213, RNSG 2163, PSYC 2314, or Administrative Approval Required Corequisites: RNSG-2260 (If it is the second attempt at passing this course, then the co-requisite may be waived)
