MUSX 1012 — Music Theory II

The study of analysis and writing of tonal melody and diatonic harmony, including all diatonic chords and seventh chords in root position and inversions, non-chord tones, and functional harmony. Introduction to more complex topics, such as modulation, may occur. Optional correlated study at the keyboard. Recommended Pre-requisite: MUSX-1011 Recommended Co-requisite: MUSX-1017
