FPTA 1070 — Hyb Heavy Veh Rescue Tech
Instruction and skill development in safe vehicle extrication. Skill development in Vehicle Rescue Technician competencies as outlined in National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1006, 2021 edition. Specifically, the course will engage participants in advanced stabilization, lifting, and extrication techniques and complex scenarios involving large machines and vehicles in excess of 10,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight. Students will be exposed to several different tool types and techniques as well as a variety of complex scenarios. 5 CEUs.
