Discussion of Advanced Emergency Medical Technician needs for advanced patient care, treatment and assistance for special populations, transportation, incident management, and safety protocols. This course allows students to complete the necessary content and training hours to be eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician certification exam and achieve the Texas Department of State Health Services certification at the Advanced Emergency Technician Level. 8 CEUs.
