EDUX 1013 — Math Boot Camp
This course will prepare currently enrolled high school students with the academic readiness for undergraduate mathematical courses the instruction to the basic concepts needed to successfully transition to the college learning environment. This course will provide structured assignments and useful examples to coerce students' knowledge on the safe and secure methods in the areas of Basic arithmetic operations (whole numbers, fractions, mixed numbers, decimals and signed numbers), exponents, percents and proportions, metric system, geometry of measurement, expressions and equations with variables, and statistical graphs. Computer software will be used in this course. This is an Adult Education course and cannot be used to fulfill degree requirements.
