NUR 221 — Nursing Through the Life Cycle VI 4 2 4

The focus of this course is the nursing process for clients throughout the life cycle with alterations in digestive, gastric, biliary, intestinal, and hepatic functions as well as more complex conditions causing systemic changes. Students are provided the opportunity to utilize the nursing process, nursing skills, and theoretical knowledge in related clinical situations. Students are expected to adhere to the standards of nursing practice as set forth by the Illinois Nursing and Advanced Nursing Practice Ac t and Rules for Administration of the Illinois Nursing and Advanced Nursing Practice Act.
