ECE 228 — Observation / Assessment 3 1 4
This course is a study of a variety of informal and formal observation and assessment techniques used in early childhood classrooms and how to use the information to inform the instructional process. Legal, ethical and external factors on assessment will be covered along with appropriate strategies for engaging families in the assessment process. 60 hours of lab work will be required in a licensed early childhood setting.
